I have to say that I’d never heard a harp up close and in person until I recorded YiYun Loei’s recital. It has a sound that doesn’t even seem human, its almost other worldly. The incredibly specialized skills and dexterity required to play the fast passages paired with the harp’s immense range of pitches made this solo performance fun to watch and a pleasure to listen to.

Yi-Yun contacted me about a week before her performance and asked if I’d be able to record her recital. She wanted a DVD and an audio CD created for her. After recording the event in high definition I created a custom DVD complete with menu’s, and burned an audio CD copy of her performance.
